STSBet Review: Should you be using STSBet?
Knowing where to get your fill of sports and casino betting is extremely tough nowadays; there are so many platforms available whether it be online or app based. It’s important to know you’re betting with a company that is operating a) under the correct licenses and b) in a way that gives you a fair deal for the risk your taking with your bets. Here we’re completing a comprehensive STSBet review to see how they stand up against the competition.
We will kick off our STSBet review by looking at who they are and the markets they operate in and the type of bets the offer within those said markets. After that we’ll put their special offers and promotions under the microscope before reviewing their website and app both in terms of design and usability. Then to close, we’ll have a whistle stop tour of their approach to banking, customer service and provide our closing thoughts.

Who are STSBet?
Okay, before we dive straight into the ‘what’ it’s important to understand the ‘who’. It’s always good to have an appreciation of the company you’re using especially when you’re going to be depositing funds with them and relying on them to pay out any winning bets you might have; fingers crossed you’ll have plenty of these!
STSbet were born some 24 years ago as they opened their first bricks and mortar site in Poland in 1997. That presence quickly expanded. As of 2021, STSBet dominate the Polish market with over half the available market share. On top of that, the bookmaker now runs near on 450 shops spread across Europe with 1,500 staff ensuring the smooth operation of both physical locations and their online offering.
Finally, the bookie comes endorsed by one of the best goalkeepers of all time in Peter Schmeichel too; it means that with STSBet you should be in safe hands. That’s the only goalkeeper pun we’ve used…honest.
Sports Betting Markets
There is not doubting that the major sports offering on STSBet is football. You can place bets on a vast range of leagues with both pre-game and in-play markets available. As you’d expect, the more elite level leagues I.e. Europe’s top five are all covered in huge depth; there are literally hundreds and often thousands of different betting options within each fixture.
The bet types available to you at this level are pretty insane. The typical options like match result, both teams to score, total goals and correct score markets are there for you to tap into but beyond that the list just goes on and on and on. You can bet on handicaps, Asian handicaps, correct score clusters, draw no bets, double chances, individual player markets and a whole host more. Finally, you’ve also got the ability to pool bets together; for example, if you think team A will win and there will be over 2.5 goals then this isn’t a problem either.
So, that’s football covered. What about the other sports? Well, whilst football does take pride of place the one accusation you simply cannot make is that STSBet have neglected the other sports as a result; they have not. If you can think of a sport then you’ll find markets covering it on STSBet; the one exception to that rule being horse racing.
Anyway, sports ranging from MMA and boxing span all the way through motor racing, rugby and on to chess, darts and snooker are all covered with multiple markets to explore. Our STSBet review even found the bookmaker to have a pretty well rounded eSports offering too!

Special offers and promotions
A sign up bonus with online bookmakers are seen as the holy grail by some. They shouldn’t be. There is much more to being a good bookie than offering a gigantic hook; that’s particularly true if it’s hard to escape the hook with little incentive provided following the initial bite. STSBet offer a sign up bonus of up to £50 on their sportsbook, which is drip fed to you in £5 instalments as you hit certain triggers with your wagering; for most people, the terms and conditions won’t be too tough to meet either, which is obviously good. There are no tricks in place, just a desire to build a long term relationship between bookmaker and punter. You’ll be surprised how quickly you can work through the wagering too especially if you’re someone that wants to partake in large bets or daily rolling accumulators.
On top of the main welcome bonus; STSBet offer other incentives to reward their customers. Firstly, there are long running ‘protection offers’ like acca insurance; these ‘offers’ protect your stake in the event a single leg of an accumulator bet lets you down. You will also occasionally see special promotions when big events are taking place; an example of what might see these offers are things like the Olympic Games. During Tokyo 2020 any qualifying football bets that lost in the final five minutes saw a £10 ‘cashback’.
The final element of offers and promotions we want to touch on during our STSBet review is the fact you’ll come across regular price boosts. We wouldn’t recommend you back every one you see but they certainly do provide genuine value from time to time.
Website overview
One of the first things you’ll notice about STSBet is the colour scheme they choose to use. The yellow and blue is bold yet easy on the eyes; in our opinion, it looks really smart. It is, however, all rather cosmetic in the broader scope of the site. What really matters is how easy the site is to use; is it easy to navigate? Can you find the markets you want easily? Can you place bets quickly? And the list goes on.
The answer to all of the above questions is yes. You’ve got the main sections of the site in a horizontal ribbon at the top of the screen. Then running down the left hand ribbon is a menu with different sports and leagues listed alongside collapsible icons to expand and hide the sub-categories. What we like most about the site navigation though is the search function that sits above the menu; this allows you to search for specific teams or events.
Next, we want to talk about the way the odds are presented. Most sites will allow you to select a market e.g. match result, and then you’ll see the fixture with the three odds (win, loss, draw) listed nearby. STSBet’s layout is similar but, for us, it’s better. Rather than having one market and one set of odds you see multiple markets relating to the event with the odds clearly listed underneath the respective market heading.

Finally, we know there is probably one question on your lips; what about in-play bets? Well, you can’t get live streams on the site (yet) but, for team games at least, you’ll see a pitch/court image displaying the direction of play along with an overview of key stats.
The one black mark for STSBet is the lack of an app.
Banking and safe betting
Right, on the safe betting front let’s begin with responsible gambling; it’s something that is so important yet plenty of bookmakers treat it with the bare minimum requirements. That’s not the case with STSBet. Their responsible gambling policy can be accessed from every page on their site. What you’ll have available to you is a host of external links to experts in problem gambling, a self-assessment tool and a vast array of in-house tools that help you control your gambling habits; these range from deposit and loss limits through to self-exclusion.
As for the banking options, pretty much everyone will be able to find a way of funding their account. Debit cards, e-wallets and bank transfers are all viable options with reasonable minimum deposits and efficient withdrawal processes all in place too.
Customer Service
Earlier in our STSBet review we mentioned how shiny sign up offers aren’t the be all and end all of a good bookmaker; the customer service angle is more important. If that doesn’t ring true with you then you’ve been lucky in the past. If you do run into any issues during your betting experience then then a company that cares and is contactable cannot be beaten. So, where do STSBet rank on this metric?
Let’s get the negative out of the way first; they don’t offer any telephone contact. That’s the end of the negatives. The positive news for STSBet comes in two main forms. You can raise your queries in three ways – directly via email, indirectly via email using a web form or through the live chat function. If you query via email (directly or indirectly) you should expect a prompt reply from an attentive member of staff; we would suggest within a day or so. As for the live chat, again, replies are quick but this time you’re talking almost instant with the live chat function in operation 24/7.
If you’re still looking for more then the website comes with an extensive FAQ section that you can explore at your leisure.
Other Areas – The Casino
During our STSBet review we’ve focussed heavily on the sportsbook; that was a deliberate choice we made. It does not, however, mean that it’s the only way to get your gambling fix with the bookie. You’ve got a casino that you can easily access via the same account. Within the STSBet casino you’ll find a host of video slots, jackpot games and table games. Some examples of the games you’ll be able to play include the likes of Netent’s Hotline2, Immortal Romance, which is underpinned by Microgaming tech whilst roulette, blackjack and poker all also feature. There is also a live casino offering poker, roulette, blackjack, baccarat and more.

We’re not done yet though; to cap off the casino offer you are also able to seize a sign up bonus of up to £100 as a matched deposit. The minimum to benefit from the 100% benefit is £10. As for the wagering requirements it’s 35 times; that’s considerably less than the likes of Ladbrokes who quote a 40 x wagering requirement on their casino bonus; the Ladbrokes sign up bonus at the time of writing is just £50 too.
Closing Summary
How would we summarise our STSBet review? All in all, this bookmaker has a very good offering in place. They’ve been established for a number of years and continue to grow, which serves as proof that they’re doing a lot of the right things. Their promotions are decent enough, their customer care is excellent and whilst they don’t have a mobile app their website is up there with the best bookmakers out there.
They are 100% worth a look.
